Anxiety

In the fast-paced, high-pressure world we live in, things can quickly get overwhelming. If things are more overwhelming than usual, or you are struggling to 'switch your brain off' to relax, you may be experiencing anxiety. I can support you to talk through your anxieties and make more sense of them. I can also provide practical support for easing anxiety.

Whether you anticipate them or not, life changes can be tough to adjust to. Loss, moving home, having a child, changing jobs - life can throw a lot at us sometimes, and even the most positive of changes may cause feelings of stress. I can support you as you navigate the changes that you've been through and the impact that they've had on you.

Self-esteem

Many people can struggle to see their own value and worth. You may find yourself comparing yourself to others and coming up short, or feeling like life hasn't worked out how you wanted it to. Perhaps you find it hard to like the reflection in the mirror, or you put the needs and happiness of others before your own. Through counselling, I can help you gain more acceptance for who you are, learn about your boundaries, and feel a greater sense of accomplishment for your successes.

generalised mental health support

All of us have our mental health ups and downs. Sometimes the reasons for that may be obvious, sometimes not. A therapist can help to provide objective, non-judgmental and confidential support. For anybody wanting to know more about their mental health and how to maintain it, I can provide a space to explore your thoughts and emotions and provide guidance to you.

Online Services

Counselling can be beneficial to anybody who is looking to improve their mental health and wellbeing. Online sessions are held via Skype from the safety of your own home at a time that is convenient.
